Tumor-infiltrating lymphocyte, or TIL, therapy is a new form of cellular immunotherapy that targets cancer cells by leveraging the body’s immune system and specialized cells called T-lymphocytes. This treatment is currently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for metastatic melanoma with additional research ongoing in other types of cancer.
